BRIAN McFadden said he has “nothing but admiration” for his former Westlife bandmates after they announced a new tour last night.
The band will play three Irish dates on their new Twenty tour next year.
Shane Filan, Mark Feehily, Kian Egan and Nicky Byrne will kick off their Twenty Tour at Belfast’s SSE Arena on May 25 and 26 2019.
The tour will wrap with a huge date at Croke Park in Dublin on Friday July 5.
Ex-bandmate McFadden said 20 years “at the top is an incredible achievement” for his old pals.
He tweeted last night: “Wishing the boys the best of luck with the tour. 20 years at the top is an incredible achievement.
“I had a wonderful six years with the boys but I have nothing but admiration for the lads working their asses off for this long!
“Long may it continue boys. Flying the flag X.”
McFadden quit the group back in 2004 and will compete in TV’s Dancing On Ice next year.
