Singer-songwriter and Australia’s Got Talent judge, Brian McFadden will bring Christmas to the Outback from 5-8 December
aboard Australian rail icon, the Indian Pacific, on its annual Christmas journey across the nation.
Over the 4352km transcontinental journey from Sydney to Perth, McFadden will perform his hit songs and new songs from his new album The Irish Connection, which sees McFadden perform some of his favourite Irish tunes (and a Christmas Carol or two) to fans in free concerts at wayside outback stops, including some of the most isolated places across the Nullarbor Plain.
The Outback Christmas train is about thanking the communities along the Indian Pacific route for their longstanding support of themighty train and spreading the „spirit of Christmas‟ across Australia.
The event also raises awareness and funds for the Australian Royal Flying Doctor Service.
“For the communities we visit, the event has become a well anticipated fixture in the calendar. Some are known to travel hundreds of kilometres to meet the train each year,” said Chris Tallent CEO of Great Southern Rail.
Irish singer and songwriter Brian McFadden got his musical start in the early 1990s with boy band Westlife. He is now based in Australia and joins fellow judges Kyle Sandilands and Danni Minogue on the hit channel 7 series, Australia’s Got Talent.
“This is an incredible opportunity to see Australia and perform in some of the most remote parts of the country,” said McFadden.
McFadden will be joined by his new wife DJ and model Vogue Williams.
Previous entertainers who have graced the Outback Christmas Train stage include Jessica Mauboy, Mark Seymour and James Reyne, Guy Sebastian, Marcia Hines, Jimmy Barnes, Human Nature and Shannon Noll. Members of the public are invited toattend the free concerts at Bathurst Broken Hill, Watson, Rawlinna and Kalgoorlie.

Hi all, Clare here.
Just want to let everyone know Brian’s new single will be out this Thursday the 6th of September at 9.30pm its part of the new Irish TV show Brian is a part of.
I know the name of the song but I’m not allowed say but it is fantastic, I heard it as I was at the recording of the show.
You can buy the song as the show is being aired on Thursday, You can buy it worldwide so wherever you are in the world own this song.
**The way this show works is that is there is two artists Brian McFadden and Irish band Royseven who have chosen 1 song each that will be potentially there next hit. So whoever gets the most downloads of the song and has the highest chart postion wins and has a new hit but we have only 3½ hours to buy the song so when it starts at 9.30pm we have to 12.00am midnight to buy Brian’s song. You can still buy it after of course it will still count just not for the initial chart. Which will be relieved on Friday the 7th of September at 1.00pm on the Larry Gogan radio show on 2fm
**(Please use the time converter for your country or to double check the time)**
So please check the time converter here for http://www.timeanddate.com/worldclock/converter.html
