Brian McFadden says Rochdale is now his “first home” after finding love with a PE teacher.

The former Westlife star says he now spends most of his time in Rochdale after meeting Danielle Parkinson – and as a bonus living in Greater Manchester brings him closer to his beloved favourite football team Manchester United.

The Irish singer was recently seen sunning himself in Barbados with Danielle, who he met last year through mutual friends, ahead of his tour with former Boyzone star Keith Duffy as Boyzlife.

And he says things are going swimmingly with Danielle, who teaches at Matthew Moss High School.

Brian, who was previously married to Atomic Kitten star Kerry Katona and Irish model Vogue Williams, told us: “We had a lovely holiday and it was nice to get away before the tour.

“And Danielle is a teacher so it was nice for her to have a holiday.

“We met in Manchester through mutual friends and at the moment it’s my first home.

“I’m in Rochdale all the time now.

“It’s perfect for me because I’m a Manchester United supporter and I enjoy playing golf in Manchester. “It isn’t my first time in Manchester but I had never been to Rochdale before.”

Father of two Brian, who was a member of the chart-topping boyband Westlife from 1998 to 2004, has joined forced with fellow Irish pop star and former Coronation Street actor Keith to form the singing and bantering duo Boyzlife.

Another Boyzlife tour of laughter, stories and music comes to the Hilton Deansgate on Thursday April 13 and Friday April 14.

The two Irish singers were on Lorraine to talk about their new boyband Boyzlife.

Brian was part of Westlife and Keith was in Boyzone, so the duo decided to team together to create their new supergroup.

However, things got a bit cheeky between Brian and Lorraine when they started talking about golf.

The TV presenter couldn’t get over the boys’ obsession with the sport and said: “Do you not get fed up of it, cross with it?

“You go out and do exactly the same thing, the exactly the same course, the exactly the same clubs, you’re rubbish and then the next day you’ll be good.”

To which Brian replied with: “Lorraine, is that not what you’ve been doing for the last 25 years?”

The 57 year old was left shocked at the comment and then burst out laughing.

“That’s very true,” she quickly added.

However, the banter didn’t stop there and Keith decided to say: “Where’s your social life gone? Do you have one?”

To which she replied with: “No.

“Cinderella as you know, always got to leave early!”

While Brian added: “Get yourself some golf clubs and when you’ve finished yapping here in the morning, go out onto that golf course.

“It will change your life forever.”

Viewers were left in hysterics over the Boyzlife members antics and took to Twitter to share their thoughts.

One person said: “You need to get Boyzlife as guest presenters #Lorraine”.

A second user put: “#Lorraine, how funny were they, should have their own show!”.

While a third account added: “Keith and Brian should have their own TV chat show they’re lots of fun with plenty of cheeky chat #Boyzlife #Lorraine x”.

Lorraine continues on weekdays at 8:30am on ITV.

Popstars Keith Duffy and Brian McFadden have admitted that they risked their life savings for their Boyzlife tour.

The singers, who were formerly members of Boyzone and Westlife respectively, delved into their own pockets in order to cover the cost for their 12-date tour, which they organised without a concert promoter.

“That meant we fronted the costs ourselves until the tickets sold,” McFadden said.

“It was a big risk,” he added, “We had absolutely no idea how it would be received, we went in totally blind.”

“Keith and I knew we had a great concept, and we said to reach other on evening over dinner, let’s roll the dice, we believe in the idea so let’s go for it, it was pretty terrifying,” he told the Irish Sun on Sunday.

The Dublin duo can be seen in their new DVD sweating over the cost of their gamble as tour expenses begin to climb.

Things got worse as McFadden’s former Westlife bandmate Kian Egan voiced his anger and concern at the duo forming their own group, citing that fans might be mislead into believing Boyzone and Westlife are back together.

“It was really unfair on the fans that everybody thought that this was what’s happening, you know that Westlife and Boyzone were getting together to do a tour,” Egan said in March.

“From the perspective of someone who spent 15 years in Westlife it was really aggravating.”

Ex-Boyzone member Duffy told the paper, “The night before tickets went on sale was definitely a sleepless night for us.”

“We were terrified,” he said, “If the tickets didn’t sell, we were going to be in a bad place.”

Tickets for the tour, which ranged from €40-€100, sold out within six hours of going on sale.

Singers Ellie Goulding and Brian McFadden have put their names forward to replace British TV presenter Chris Evans as the host of popular motoring show Top Gear.

Evans quit the beleaguered series on Monday after joining former Friends star Matt LeBlanc to front the revamped BBC show for its first run since the departure of former presenters Jeremy Clarkson, James May and Richard Hammond.
However, the new Top Gear failed to win over viewers following its return to TV screens in May, and it ended its latest season with the lowest audience of its current series, according to figures released by the BBC. It averaged 1.9 million viewers on Sunday night, a mere 8.6 per cent of the available audience.

Announcing his decision to resign via Twitter, Evans simply wrote: “Stepping down from Top Gear. Gave it my best shot but sometimes that’s not enough. The team are beyond brilliant, I wish them all the best.”
His exit has since prompted both Ellie and Brian to offer up their services to BBC bosses in social media posts on Monday, with the Burn hitmaker jokingly tweeting, “FINE I’ll present Top Gear”.

Former Westlife star Brian McFadden was more forthright in his proposition.

“Dear @BBC_TopGear I will happily drive the best cars in the world and get paid for it! AND be pretty happy about it!” he began. The Irish singer then poked fun at the problems with prompted Clarkson’s departure from the show last year, after he was initially suspended for becoming embroiled in a bust-up with producer Oisin Tymon over catering arrangements.

Brian added, “And @BBC_TopGear I promise not to punch any producers or hit on anyone! Except matt le blanc. He’s dreamy”.

BRIAN McFadden has penned two love songs about his estranged wife Vogue Williams – seven months after their split.

The former Westlife singer, 35, croons about the Irish model in Nothing Without You, in which he insists she will never stop being his “baby”.

In lyrics obtained by The Sun, he sings: “We can take the pain and laughter / Chasing happy ever afters / No ones got a love that’s perfect / Just enough to make it worth it.

“You can stop and say you hate me / That won’t stop you being my baby / Giving up’s the worst thing you could do / ‘Cause I’m nothing without you.”

Brian – who is currently in Austria competing on The Jump – is believed to have written the tracks last autumn when he was still living with Vogue, 30, despite announcing their separation last summer.

They split following three years of marriage but are not believed to have started divorce proceedings.

In a second song titled Wandering Eyes, he confesses he struggled to deal with the male attention she received.

Admitting he’s still attracted to her, he compares her face to the sunshine and describes her body as “a work of art”.

On the ballad, he sings: “I’m not the jealous type / Any man would find you hard to deal with / Those wandering eyes on you tonight / Wondering why you’re with this guy.

“With a face like the sun you shine / And your body’s a work of art / And your body breaks my heart.”

Both tracks are expected to appear on his as-yet untitled fifth solo album.

The news of his love songs comes just a week after Vogue flew out to Austria to cheer Brian on as he continues to take part in Channel 4 winter sports show The Jump.

In her online blog for Hello! she wrote: “So this week I went to Austria to see Brian at the Jump on Thursday. He wanted me to go and watch one of the live shows so my cousin Cass and I decided to make a little ski holiday out of it.”

A representative for Brian has been approached for a comment.

Former Westlife star Brian McFadden has dashed hopes of a reunion in 2015 after revealing he’s recording another solo album.

“I haven’t stopped (with music), I’m making a new album in January in London,” he said.

His revelation follows former bandmate Mark Feehily’s announcement of a one off solo gig in London next year.

Fans hopes of a comeback were raised in early December when media reports suggested the five original band members were planning to reform in the New Year.
